Upload your music and listen anywhere with consuming your devices' precious disk space. This app does indeed do just that, but the execution is rotten. Songs can only be added (or removed) from the .com site, through a laggy, clunky, and ultra-basic HTML5 applet. It only detects title/author/album/etc from ID3 tags, and only from MP3s, and lacks any batch process whatsoever to edit multiple items at once. Both phone app and site organize songs solely by upload order. There's no separation by album or author and a search feature is painfully absent. On the app, you don't even see those fields--only the title of each file. Essentially, the entire project seems more like a proof of concept than a consumer product. On the good side, accessing a song is nearly instant, without any apparent buffer lag or seek time. Sound quality is adequate but will make any audiophile nauseous in the ear. You... Read more |
